Sales & Stud Services

We have a selection of quality & pet females & males available. We are dedicated to providing you with the best possible service & ensuring you find the perfect match(es) for your needs whether you are buying alpacas or stud services. We want you to be happy & comfortable with your decisions.

• All of our alpacas are BAS registered; each is vaccinated in line with our farm’s routine, wormed as required, microchipped & will have a BAS ear tag number assigned.
• All sales are accompanied by a ‘Buyers Pack’ of information which includes pedigree, health, husbandry & fleece stats.
• We include a brief description of each alpacas character, likes & dislikes & quirks to help you while you get to know your new alpacas.
• A BAS Welfare guide is available to new owners which will be emailed to you.
  Unless you have attended a husbandry course before purchasing your alpacas – which we highly recommend – we will explain the daily & annual routine that we have developed to suit us which will adapt very easily to suit buyers.
• We can deliver, or arrange delivery of, alpacas anywhere in the UK. We offer free delivery within 75 miles of our postcode.
• We offer you our experience & knowledge to help you & your alpacas. We are available to you 24/7 should you need our support.
• Females sold as pregnant are scanned before leaving the farm.
• Live-birth guarantee (24 hours) or a free return to service – this is not transferrable to another owner or alpaca.
• Returning females are offered a discounted stud service.
• Females must have been wormed within one week and at least 48 hours prior to Drive By or Mobile service. The purchaser of the stud service must ensure that any animal for service is healthy, in good condition & has no more than one year’s growth of fibre. We reserve the right to request the owner trim the fleece around the rear of the female to be bred if it is considered too long for efficient & safe mating.
• Stud services will be recorded at Grassroots.
• Payment for stud services is due immediately after the first service regardless of the outcome.
• We will offer a discount on multiple purchases &/or stud services.
• We occasionally have older aunties or uncles available to make up numbers &/or provide additional company for your alpacas.
• Females who have been bred 3 times and have not become pregnant may incur additional service charges. We would recommend that the female is examined by a vet prior to any further breedings.
• We only offer drive-by or mobile matings – that is on our farm away from our herd or at your farm in a secure area. We do not agist females for breeding.
