Our Farm
In 2009 we took our first tentative steps into alpaca ownership having spent two years researching & attending courses to ensure we could offer the correct environment for a small breeding herd as a diversification of the farm. On a snowy day our first alpacas arrived & today most of those original 10 girls & one male cria at foot still reside with us.
We have gained a host of experience in keeping & breeding alpacas and fibre & processing knowledge having also created East Anglia Alpaca Mill – Europe’s only mill dedicated solely to alpaca fibre.
Alpacas are addictive & with births in 2010 & the purchase of additional alpacas our herd soon grew. We knew we wanted a mixed-colour herd & chose to specialise in breeding grey alpacas influenced by Lucky, Aphro & Danny who were all part of our core herd.
Our herd is now averaging 60 alpacas from our youngest alpacas born in 2023 to our older girls in their late teens & early twenties.
