Emma is an Affiliate Trainer recognised by the British Alpaca Society. Husbandry courses are offered several times a year & cover a range of topics related to owning alpacas. These courses are designed to provide extensive knowledge & education to those interested in owning alpacas. Affiliate Trainers have been recognised by the British Alpaca Society for their commitment to education & extensive knowledge attained over numerous years of alpaca ownership & are required to meet strict criteria to present BAS-approved training materials.

The full course consists of 9 modules & each can be stand-alone as required & tailored to suit your needs.

Module 4:   The Alpaca – What to look for
Module 5:   Understanding Shearing Day
Module 6:   Fleece – what to do with it
Module 7:   Breeding & Mating
Module 8:   Birthing
Module 9:   Marketing your alpaca business

Emma is also co-owner of East Anglia Alpaca Mill & is well-equipped to offer a range of advice regarding alpaca fibre & processing, as well as hosting the ‘All About Fibre’© training course at the Mill or for Regional Groups or interested parties.
