Our Team

Emma is responsible for overseeing the entire farm, including the alpacas, while Marie is our hardworking stockhand who cares for the alpacas and the land they graze.

Marie joined us as a complete novice to farming and animal care, leaving her career in nursing behind after the pandemic. When Marie’s not working, she enjoys playing netball, running and gardening.

We are lucky to have several volunteers who generously contribute their time to help us ensure the alpacas thrive & the farm is maintained for our Experience visitors.

In addition to Emma and Marie, the team includes Jen, who works full-time shifts opposite her husband to facilitate the childcare of their two lovely girls. They often visit the farm, help with the alpacas & enjoy cuddles with our farm dogs. Jen has her own herd – of guinea pigs, not alpacas.

We are also an approved work placement facility for students at Easton College. Currently, we have two students with us, each having to achieve 130 hours of work experience. 

The Mill team work their magic & processes thousands of fleeces into yarns & other part-processed goods for our clients.
